Environmental ecology, forest industry development programs

 

The Chary Fund provides the necessary assistance to Ukrainian forestry workers who remain in the war zone and to those who have moved to Western Ukraine, and to those who moved abroad seeking employment.

 

Forests are a source of livelihood for millions of people, accumulate carbon, purify drinking water and provide habitat for wildlife. They also allow us to produce products that people use every day.

 

The program of the fund “Ecology of society, programs for the development of the forest industry” is aimed at:

 

• restoration of the country’s ecosystem and national forest heritage;
• preserving the health and productivity of ecosystems for future generations;
• restoration of soils and fertile Ukrainian lands;
• reforestation of Ukraine and forest recovery around the world;
• support of the health of the nation and forest ecosystems, the development of ecologically important areas affected by military aggression;
• certification of forest resources and ratification of those that do not meet DSTU European standards and norms of ICE management
